فَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ يَعْقُوبَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ الْعَبَّاسَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ يَحْيَى بْنَ مَعِينٍ يَقُولُ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ يَرْوِيهِ مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْبَدَّاحِ بْنِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ لِلرِّعَاءِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا يَوْمًا وَيَرْعَوْا يَوْمًا» قَالَ يَحْيَى وَهَذَا خَطَأٌ إِنَّمَا هُوَ كَمَا قَالَ مَالِكٌ قَالَ يَحْيَى وَكَانَ سُفْيَانُ إِذَا حَدَّثَنَا بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ ذَهَبَ عَلَي فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ شَيْءٌ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession to herders to throw pebbles one day and tend their flocks another day. Yahya said, "This is a mistake; it is only as Malik said." Yahya said, "When Sufyan narrated this hadith to us, he said, 'Something has slipped my mind regarding this hadith.'"

قَالَ الْحَاكِمُ «وَقَدْ أَسْنَدَ أَبُو الْبَدَّاحِ بْنُ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ»
