✧ "A man from Murad came to Uwais Al-Qarani and greeted him saying, 'Peace be upon you.' Uwais replied, 'And upon you.' The man asked, 'How are you, Uwais?' Uwais replied, 'Praise be to Allah.' The man asked, 'How is the time treating you?' Uwais replied, 'Do not ask a man who has not experienced the evening if it has become morning, and do not ask a man who has not experienced the morning if it has become evening. O brother of Murad, there is no joy remaining for a believer in death. O brother of Murad, the recognition of a believer with the rights of Allah does not leave him with any silver or gold. O brother of Murad, if a believer fulfills the command of Allah, he will have no companion left. By Allah, we command them to do good and forbid them from evil, but they consider us enemies. And verily, among the evildoers, they find support. By Allah, they accuse us of great sins, but that will not prevent me from speaking the truth.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this in his summary."
