أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي نَصْرٍ الْمُزَكِّي بِمَرْوَ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الدَّشْتَكِيُّ ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ عَنْ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ «انْظُرُوا عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَمُوتُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُدْرِكَهُ هَفْوَةٌ مِنْ كِبَرٍ»
Translation
"Look at Ammar bin Yasir, for he dies upon fitrah (natural disposition), unless a slip of old age overtakes him."
