حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْأَشْتَرِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ

كَانَ وَقَعَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ كَلَامٌ فَشَكَوْتُهُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَا خَالِدُ مَنْ يُسَابَّ عَمَّارًا يَسُبَّهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يُعَادِ عَمَّارًا يُعَادِهِ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ يُحَقِّرْ عَمَّارًا يُحَقِّرْهُ اللَّهُ» رَوَاهُ الْعَوَّامُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ وَخَالَفَ شُعْبَةُ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ

✧ There occurred between me and 'Ammar b. Yasir some words, so I complained about him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Khalid, whoever insults 'Ammar, Allah insults him; whoever is hostile to 'Ammar, Allah is hostile to him; and whoever despises 'Ammar, Allah despises him." This was narrated by al-'Awwam b. Hawshab from Salamah b. Kuhayl, and Shu'bah differed in its chain, for he said: from Salamah, from 'Alqamah, from Khalid b. al-Walid.
