حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ كَانَ عَمَّارُ بْنُ يَاسِرٍ وَأَبُوهُ وَأُمُّهُ أَهْلَ بَيْتِ إِسْلَامٍ وَكَانَ بَنُو مَخْزُومٍ يُعَذِّبُونَهُمْ فَقَالَ
رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «صَبْرًا يَا آلَ يَاسِرٍ فَإِنَّ مَوْعِدَكُمُ الْجَنَّةُ» قَالَ «وَكَانَ اسْمُ أُمِّ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ سُمَيَّةَ بِنْتَ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ لَخْمٍ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Patience, O family of Yasir, for your appointment is Paradise.” He said, “And the name of the mother of 'Ammar b. Yasir was Sumayya bt. Muslim b. Lakhm.” Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
