أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ غَانِمٍ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَبْدِيُّ ثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ قَالَ
«مَاتَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ بِالشَّامِ فِي أَرْضِ فِلَسْطِينَ بِالرَّمْلَةِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً»
