حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ
عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَالْعَقَبَةِ مِنْ بَنِي جُشَمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ وَهُمَا التَّوْأَمَانِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ وَهُوَ الَّذِي أُرِيَ النِّدَاءَ بِالصَّلَاةِ فَجَاءَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ بِهِ»

✧ From Ibn Ishaq, in naming those who were present at Badr and al-Aqabah from Banu Jusham b. al-Harith and Zayd b. al-Harith, and they are the twins: Abdullah b. Zayd b. Abd Rabbihi b. Tha'labah, and he is the one who was shown the call to prayer, so the Messenger of God ﷺ came with it and ordered him to do it.
