أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْحَافِظُ أَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ} [الأنعام 52] قَالَ

نَزَلَتْ فِي خَمْسٍ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَنَا وَابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ فِيهِمْ فَقَالَتْ قُرَيْشٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ لَوْ طَرَدْتَ هَؤُلَاءِ عَنْكَ جَالَسْنَاكَ تُدْنِي هَؤُلَاءِ دُونَنَا فَنَزَلَتْ {وَلَا تَطْرُدِ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيِّ يُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَهُ} [الأنعام 52] إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {بِالشَّاكِرِينَ} [الأنعام 53]

✧ It was revealed concerning five men of Quraysh, and I and Ibn Mas'ud were among them. Quraysh said to the Prophet ﷺ, "If you would drive away these people, we would sit with you. You bring these close instead of us." Then it was revealed: {And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord morning and evening, seeking His countenance} [al-An'am 52] up to His saying {of the thankful} [al-An'am 53].

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
