أَخْبَرَنَا الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«مَاتَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ وَيُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ سَنَةَ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثِينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً»
