حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَمْشَاذَ الْعَدْلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَارِثُ بْنُ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ أَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَتَى عَلَى هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يُلْبِسُوا إِيمَانَهُمْ بِظُلْمٍ} [الأنعام 82] فَأَتَى أُبَيَّ بْنَ كَعْبٍ فَسَأَلَهُ أَيُّنَا لَمْ يَظْلِمْ؟ فَقَالَ

لَهُ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّمَا ذَاكَ الشِّرْكُ أَمَا سَمِعْتَ قَوْلَ لُقْمَانَ لِابْنِهِ {يَا بُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيمٌ} [لقمان 13] سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ He said to him: O Commander of the Believers, that is only shirk. Have you not heard the saying of Luqman to his son: "O my son, do not associate partners with Allah. Indeed, association is a great wrong" [Luqman 13]? Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
