أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا
ثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ «فَذَكَرَ هَذَا النَّسَبَ وَزَادَ فِيهِ وَأُمُّ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ صُهَيْلَةُ بِنْتُ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ حَرَامِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ زَيْدِ مَنَاةَ بْنِ عَدِيِّ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ النَّجَّارِ وَهِيَ عَمَّةُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ»

✧ Khalifah b. Khayyat narrated to us, mentioning this lineage and adding: “The mother of Ubayy b. Ka'b was Suhaylah bt. al-Aswad b. Haram b. Amr b. Zayd Manat b. Adi b. Amr b. Malik b. al-Najjar, and she was the paternal aunt of Abu Talhah.”
