أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا خَلِيفَةُ بْنُ خَيَّاطٍ قَالَ
«شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُطَاعِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَأُمُّهُ حَسَنَةُ وَوَلَاؤُهَا لِعُثْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ وَتُوُفِّيَ شُرَحْبِيلُ ابْنُ حَسَنَةَ فِي طَاعُونِ عَمَوَاسَ سَنَةَ ثَمَانَ عَشْرَةَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَبْعٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»

✧ Shurahbil b. Abdullah b. al-Muta' b. Amr b. Abd al-Aziz, and his mother is Hasanah, and her clientage belongs to Uthman b. Habib. Shurahbil ibn Hasanah died in the plague of Amawas in the year eighteen, and he was sixty-seven years old.
