حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي ذُهْلٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَاسِينَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ السَّمَّاكُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الثَّوْبَانِيُّ مِنْ وَلَدِ ثَوْبَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ لَيْثٍ مَوْلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ

رُفِعْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي صِغَرِي وَعَلَيَّ خِرْقَةٌ وَقَدْ كُشِفَتْ عَوْرَتِي فَقَالَ «غَطُّوا حُرْمَةَ عَوْرَتِهِ فَإِنَّ حُرْمَةَ عَوْرَةِ الصَّغِيرِ كَحُرْمَةِ عَوْرَةِ الْكَبِيرِ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى كَاشِفِ عَوْرَةٍ» إسناده مظلم ومتنه منكر

✧ I was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in my childhood wearing a rag, and my private parts were uncovered. He said: “Cover the sanctity of his private parts, for the sanctity of the private parts of the young is like the sanctity of the private parts of the old, and Allah does not look at one who uncovers private parts.” Its chain is obscure and its text is rejected.
