أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى الْقَاضِي ثنا أَبُو حُذَيْفَةَ النَّهْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي جَهْلٍ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ جِئْتُ مُهَاجِرًا «مَرْحَبًا بِالرَّاكِبِ الْمُهَاجِرِ مَرْحَبًا بِالرَّاكِبِ الْمُهَاجِرِ مَرْحَبًا بِالرَّاكِبِ الْمُهَاجِرِ» فَقُلْتُ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَا أَدَعُ نَفَقَةً أَنْفَقْتُهَا إِلَّا أَنْفَقْتُ مِثْلَهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ «صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» صحيح لكنه منقطع

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said to me on the day I came as an emigrant: Welcome to the emigrant rider, welcome to the emigrant rider, welcome to the emigrant rider. I said: By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I will not leave any expenditure I spent except that I will spend its like in the path of Allah, exalted be He.
