أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ بَالَوَيْهِ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ
سَمِعْتُ مُصْعَبَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ يَقُولُ «مَاتَ أَبُو مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيُّ فِي سَنَةِ اثْنَتَيْ عَشْرَةَ مِنَ الْهِجْرَةِ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سِتٍّ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»
