بَيَانُهُ مَا أَخْبَرَنِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ أَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ وَعَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ قَالَا ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ خِرَاشٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَالَ
لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى لَا يُكَلِّمُ أَحَدًا إِلَّا مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ وَأَنَّهُ كَلَّمَ أَبَاكَ كِفَاحًا فَقَالَ تَمَنَّ عَلَيَّ «وَذَكَرْتُ الْحَدِيثَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: 'Indeed Allah, the Exalted, does not speak to anyone except from behind a veil, but He spoke to your father face to face and said: Wish upon Me.' And he mentioned the hadith.

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
