أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ثنا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَبِيبَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّهُ لَمَكْتُوبٌ عِنْدَهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ السَّابِعَةِ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ أَسَدُ اللَّهِ وَأَسَدُ رَسُولِهِ ﷺ» يحيى بن عبد الرحمن بن أبي لبيبة واه

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, it is written with Him in the seventh heaven: Hamza b. 'Abd al-Muttalib, the lion of Allah and the lion of His Messenger ﷺ.' Yahya b. 'Abd al-Rahman b. Abi Labiba is weak.
