حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْإِمَامُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ

«تُوُفِّيَتْ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً» هَذَا قَوْلُ شَاذُّ فَإِنَّ الَّذِي عِنْدِي أَنَّهَا لَمْ تَبْلُغْ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً

✧ Khadijah bt. Khuwaylid died when she was sixty-five years old.” This is an anomalous statement, for what I hold is that she had not reached sixty years.
