✧ From the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Now then, what is the matter with a man who kills a man while he says, 'I am a Muslim'?" The killer said: "O Messenger of God, he only said it seeking protection." The Messenger of God ﷺ said: "Thus," and he disliked his statement and turned his face away from him, then said: "God has refused to accept my intercession for one who kills a Muslim. God has refused to accept my intercession for one who kills a Muslim." Al-Dhahabī remained silent about it in the Talkhīṣ.
