Virtues of al-Hasan b. Ali b. Abu Talib and the mention of his birth and death

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ الْعَامِرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنْقَزِيُّ ثنا زَمْعَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ وَهْرَامٍ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

أَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَحْمِلُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ نِعْمَ الْمَرْكَبُ رَكِبْتَ يَا غُلَامُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَنِعْمَ الرَّاكِبُ هُوَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ came carrying al-Hasan b. Ali on his neck. A man met him and said: "What an excellent mount you have ridden, O boy!" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "And what an excellent rider he is!"

  • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ ليس بصحيح
