حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ قَانِعِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ الْقَاضِي بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَبُو شُعَيْبٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَعْيَنَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ يَقُولُ «أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ» ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «هَكَذَا كَانَ يُعَوِّذُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنَيْهِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ used to seek protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn, saying: "I seek protection for you both with the perfect words of Allah from every devil and venomous creature and from every envious evil eye." Then he would say: "This is how Ibrahim used to seek protection for his two sons Ismail and Ishaq."
