حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَافِظُ الْأَسَدِيُّ بِهَمْدَانَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ دِيزِيلَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ ثنا أَبِي عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمَكِّيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ وَغَيْرِهِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ إِنِّي سَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ لَكُمْ ثَلَاثًا أَنْ يُثَبِّتُ قَائِمَكُمْ وَأَنْ يَهْدِيَ ضَالَّكُمْ وَأَنْ يُعَلِّمَ جَاهِلَكُمْ وَسَأَلْتُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَكُمْ جُوَدَاءَ نُجَدَاءَ رُحَمَاءَ فَلَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا صَفَنَ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْمَقَامِ فَصَلَّى وَصَامَ ثُمَّ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَهُوَ مُبْغِضٌ لِأَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ دَخَلَ النَّارَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O children of Abd al-Muttalib, indeed I have asked Allah for three things for you: that He strengthens your leader, guides your misguided ones, and teaches knowledge to your ignorant ones. And I have also asked Allah to make you generous, noble, and compassionate. So, if a man stands in prayer and in fasting and then meets Allah while harboring hatred towards the family of Muhammad, he shall enter the fire."
