شُعَيْبُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ حَبَّةَ بْنِ جُوَيْنٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
«عَبَدْتُ اللَّهَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَعْبُدَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ» وهذا باطل

خديجة وأبا بكر وبلالا وزيدا آمنوا أول ما بعث النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ولعل السمع أخطأ ويكون علي قال عبدت الله مع رسوله ولي سبع سنين ولم يضبط الراوي ما سمع
machine translationKhadījah, Abū Bakr, Bilāl and Zayd believed when the Prophet ﷺ was first sent. Perhaps the hearing was mistaken, and ʿAlī said: "I worshipped God with His Messenger when I was seven years old," and the narrator did not retain accurately what he heard.
