✧ That he heard Zayd b. Arqam say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ halted between Makkah and Madinah by five large trees. The people swept what was beneath the trees. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went in the evening and prayed, then stood as a preacher, praised Allah and extolled Him, and reminded and exhorted. He said whatever Allah willed that he say, then said, "O people, I am leaving among you two matters; you will not go astray if you follow them: the Book of Allah and my Household, my progeny." It was not related by Muhammad b. Salama b. Kuhayl, and al-Sa'di deemed it weak.
