أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ
«أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ قُتِلَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ تِسْعِينَ أَوْ ثَمَانٍ وَثَمَانِينَ»
