حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا ثنا ابْنُ عَائِشَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ قَالَ

«كَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَكَانَ الْوَزِيرِ فَكَانَ يُشَاوِرُهُ فِي جَمِيعِ أُمُورِهِ وَكَانَ ثَانِيَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَانَ ثَانِيَةً فِي الْغَارِ وَكَانَ ثَانِيَةً فِي الْعَرِيشِ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ وَكَانَ ثَانِيَةً فِي الْقَبْرِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُقِدِّمُ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدًا» في رواته مجهول

✧ Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was to the Prophet ﷺ in the position of a vizier. He would consult him in all his affairs. He was the second in Islam, the second in the cave, the second in the shelter on the day of Badr, and the second in the grave. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never put anyone ahead of him. Among its narrators is one unknown.
