✧ On the day of Hunayn, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called upon the Ansar, saying, “O company of Ansar!” They responded, “At your service, may our fathers and mothers be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “Turn your faces to Allah and to His Messenger; He will admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow.” So they advanced, with a fervor like Hunayn, until they surrounded him in a dense throng, their shoulders pressing together, fighting until Allah defeated the polytheists.
