حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ شَرِيكٍ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ بَيْنَ لَيْلَةِ الْعَقَبَةِ وَبَيْنَ مُهَاجَرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْهَا وَكَانَتْ بَيْعَةُ الْأَنْصَارِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْلَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ فِي ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَقَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْمَدِينَةَ فِي شَهْرِ رَبِيعٍ الْأَوَّلِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ 'Between the night of ʿAqaba and the emigration of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ there were three months or close to that. The pledge of the Ansar to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on the night of ʿAqaba in Dhu al-Hijja, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Madinah in the month of Rabiʿ al-Awwal.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
