✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey and stopped at a place. Suddenly there was a man in the valley saying: "O Allah, make me from the nation of Muhammad, the one shown mercy, forgiven, and rewarded for it." He said: I looked over the valley, and there was a man whose height was more than three hundred cubits. He said to me: "Who are you?" I said: "Anas ibn Malik, the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "Where is he?" I said: "There he is, hearing your words." He said: "Go to him and convey my greetings of peace to him, and say: Your brother Ilyas conveys greetings of peace to you." I came to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him. He came until he met him, embraced him, and greeted him. Then they sat talking. He said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, I eat only one day each year, and this is my day of breaking fast, so I and you will eat." A table descended upon them from the sky with bread, fish, and celery on it. They ate and fed me. We prayed the afternoon prayer, then he bade him farewell. Then I saw him pass on the clouds towards the sky.
