✧ Today a man asked me about something I do not know what to say to him. He said, "What do you think of a man who is well-mannered, energetic, eager for jihad, and our commanders impose upon us things we cannot count?" I said, "By Allah, I do not know what to say to you except that we used to be with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and perhaps he would not command something except that we did it. What remains of this world is like a pool whose clear water has been drunk and only its dregs remain. One of you will continue to be in good as long as he fears Allah Almighty, and when something troubles his soul, he goes to a man and asks him, and he heals him. By Allah, it is near that you will not find him."
