✧ It has reached us that Sulayman b. Dawud's army was one hundred parasangs: twenty-five of them for humans, twenty-five for jinn, twenty-five for wild beasts, and twenty-five for birds. He had a thousand houses of glass on wood, three hundred of them for free women and seven hundred for concubines. He commanded the strong wind, and it lifted him, then he commanded the wind, and it carried him. Allah revealed to him while he was traveling between heaven and earth: I have increased your kingdom so that no one of the creatures speaks anything but the wind comes and informs you of it.
