✧ Prophet Solomon, son of David, and what Allah bestowed upon him of kingdom.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

«أُعْطِيَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ مُلْكَ مَشَارِقِ الْأَرْضِ وَمَغَارِبِهَا فَمَلَكَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ سَبْعمِائَةَ سَنَةٍ وَسِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ مَلَكَ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا كُلَّهُمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ وَالشَّيَاطِينِ وَالدَّوَابِّ وَالطَّيْرِ وَالسِّبَاعِ وَأُعْطِي عِلْمَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَنْطِقَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَفِي زَمَانِهِ صُنِعَتِ الصَّنَائِعُ الْمُعْجِبَةُ الَّتِي مَا سَمِعَ بِهَا النَّاسُ وَسُخِّرَتْ لَهُ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ مُدَبِّرًا بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَنُورِهِ وَحِكْمَتِهِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقْبِضَهُ أَوْحَى إِلَيْهِ أَنِ اسْتَوْدِعْ عِلْمَ اللَّهِ وَحِكْمَتَهُ أَخَاهُ وَوَلَدَ دَاوُدَ وَكَانُوا أَرْبَعَ مِائَةٍ وَثَمَانِينَ رَجُلًا بِلَا رِسَالَةٍ» هذا باطل

✧ Sulayman b. Dawud was given the kingdom of the easts and wests of the earth. Sulayman b. Dawud ruled for seven hundred years and six months. He ruled all the people of the world from jinn, humans, devils, beasts, birds, and wild animals. He was given knowledge of everything and the speech of everything. In his time, the marvelous crafts that people had never heard of were made and subjected to him. He continued to manage by Allah's command, light, and wisdom, until when Allah willed to take him, He revealed to him: Entrust Allah's knowledge and wisdom to his brother and the children of Dawud, and they were four hundred and eighty men without a message. This is false.
