أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَحْمَسِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ السُّلَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَ عِلْمُ اللَّهِ وَحِكْمَتُهُ فِي وَرَثَةِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ آتَى اللَّهُ يُوسُفَ بْنَ يَعْقُوبَ مُلْكَ الْأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ فَمَلَكَ اثْنَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً وَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ فِيمَا أَنْزَلَ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ {رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ} [يوسف 101] الْآيَةُ لم يصح

✧ The knowledge and wisdom of Allah remained among the heirs of Ibrahim. Then Allah gave Yusuf b. Ya'qub dominion over the holy land, and he ruled for seventy-two years. That is His saying in what He revealed of His Book: {My Lord, You have given me some sovereignty and taught me some interpretation of events} [Yusuf 101], the verse. It is not authentic.
