أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ شَبُّوَيْهِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النَّيْسَابُورِيُّ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ

وَشُعَيْبُ بْنُ مِيكَائِيلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ نَبِيًّا فَكَانَ مِنْ خَبَرِهِ وَخَبَرِ قَوْمِهِ مَا ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ فِي الْقُرْآنِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا ذَكَرَهُ قَالَ «ذَاكَ خَطِيبُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ» لِمُرَاجَعَتِهِ قَوْمَهُسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ And Shu'aib b. Mika'il the Prophet ﷺ, Allah sent him as a prophet. Of his account and the account of his people was what Allah mentioned in the Qur'an. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned him, he said: «That is the orator of the prophets,» because of his arguing with his people. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
