al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 4048

✧ one who said, "Indeed, the sacrifice is Isaac, son of Abraham, peace be upon them.

حَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَطَّةَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْجَهْمِ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيُّ ثنا أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَطَّارُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«إِنَّ الصَّخْرَةَ الَّتِي فِي أَصْلِ ثَبِيرٍ الَّتِي ذَبَحَ عَلَيْهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ إِسْحَاقَ هَبَطَ عَلَيْهِ كَبْشٌ أَغْبَرُ لَهُ نُوَاحٌ مِنْ ثَبِيرٍ قَدْ نَوَّحَهُ» فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا طَوِيلًا

✧ "The rock at the foot of Thabir upon which Abraham sacrificed Isaac: a dusty ram descended upon him from Thabir, with a bleating that echoed." Then he mentioned a long hadith.
