حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ {وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ} [الماعون 7] قَالَ

«هِيَ الزَّكَاةُ الْمَفْرُوضَةُ يُرَاءُونَ بِصَلَاتِهِمْ وَيَمْنَعُونَ زَكَاتَهُمْ» هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ مُرْسَلٌ فَإِنَّ مُجَاهِدًا لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ منقطع

✧ It is the obligatory zakah. They show off their prayer and withhold their zakah. [This chain is authentic but mursal, for Mujahid did not hear from 'Ali. It is disconnected.]
