Chain of narrators
- Muḥammad b. Isḥāq al-Thaqafī Anbaʾ Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-Malik b. Zanjūwayh
- ʿAbd al-Razzāq Anbaʾ Maʿmar
- ʿAmr b. Dīnār
- al-Nabī ﷺ
✧ He was at Hira, and he mentioned the first connected hadith, all of whose narrators are trustworthy. I built this book on the principle that an addition from a trustworthy narrator is accepted. As for prostration in {Read in the name of your Lord} [al-Alaq 1], Muslim recorded it from Abu al-Tahir, from Ibn Wahb, from Amr b. al-Harith, from Ubayd Allah b. Abi Ja'far, from al-A'raj, from Abu Hurayrah, as mursal.
