✧ When the verse was revealed in Surah al-Baqarah concerning a number of women, they said: There remain a number of women who have not been mentioned – the young and the old, those whose menstruation has ceased, and those who are pregnant. So Allah ﷻ revealed the verse in Surah al-Nisaʾ: {And those of your women who despair of menstruation, if you doubt, their period is three months, and those who have not menstruated. And for pregnant women, their term is until they deliver their burden} [al-Talaq 4]. Its chain of narration is authentic, but the two shaykhs did not include it. Authentic.
