✧ The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: Indeed Allah benefits us through the Bedouins and their questions. One day a Bedouin came and said: O Messenger of Allah, Allah has mentioned in the Quran a harmful tree, and I did not think that in Paradise there is a tree that harms its owner. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “And what is it?” He said: The lote tree, for it has thorns. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: {In lote trees with thorns removed} (56:28). Allah removes its thorns, and in place of every thorn He puts a fruit, for it produces fruit; each fruit opens with it into seventy-two colors, no color resembling another.” [Sahih al-isnad, but they did not include it] Sahih.
