أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ

يُؤْذِينِي ابْنُ آدَمَ يَقُولُ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ فَلَا يَقُولَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَا خَيْبَةَ الدَّهْرِ فَإِنِّي أَنَا الدَّهْرُ أُقَلِّبُ لَيْلَهُ وَنَهَارَهُ فَإِذَا شِئْتُ قَبَضْتُهُمَا

✧ “The son of Adam hurts Me by saying: ‘O failure of time!’ Let none of you say: ‘O failure of time!’ for I am time; I turn its night and day, and when I will, I seize them both.”

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِهِمَا وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ هَكَذَا» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
