✧ Regarding the saying of Allah, Exalted is He: {And We have not sent you except comprehensively to all people as a bringer of good tidings and a warner} [Saba' 28]. He said: Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Mujahid, from 'Ubayd b. 'Umayr, from Abu Dharr, who said: I sought the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night and found him standing in prayer. He prolonged the prayer, then said: "I was given five things tonight that no prophet before me was given: I was sent to the red and the black." Mujahid said: That is, humans and jinn. "And I was aided with terror, so the enemy is struck with terror even at a month's distance. And the earth was made for me a place of prostration and a means of purification. And spoils of war were made lawful for me, but they were not lawful for anyone before me. And it was said to me, 'Ask and you shall be given,' so I reserved it as intercession for my community. It will reach whoever does not associate anything with Allah."
