✧ When Mūsā met al-Khiḍr (peace be upon them), a bird came and dipped its beak in the water. Al-Khiḍr said to Mūsā, “Reflect on what this bird says.” He said, “What does it say?” He said, “It says: Your knowledge and Mūsā’s knowledge in Allah’s knowledge are only like what my beak has taken from the water.”
