✧ The companions of the A'raf are people whose good deeds carried them past the Fire, but their evil deeds fell short of Paradise. When their eyes are turned toward the companions of the Fire, they say: 'Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.' While they are in that state, your Lord looks upon them and says: 'Arise, enter Paradise, for I have forgiven you.'
