حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ أَبِي النَّجُودِ وَأَخْبَرَنِي الشَّيْخُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ثنا عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ
خَطَّ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَطًّا ثُمَّ خَطَّ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ خُطُوطًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا سَبِيلُ اللَّهِ وَهَذِهِ السُّبُلُ عَلَى كُلِّ سَبِيلٍ مِنْهَا شَيْطَانٌ يَدْعُو إِلَيْهِ {وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ} [الأنعام 153]

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew a line for us, then he drew lines on his right and left. Then he said, "This is the way of Allah, and these are different paths, on every path there is a devil calling towards it." [And, "This is My path, which is straight, so follow it, and do not follow other paths, for they will lead you away from His path."] (Surah Al-An'am, 153)
