✧ He said: I entered the mosque on Friday while the Prophet ﷺ was delivering the sermon, and I sat near Ubayy b. Ka'b. The Prophet ﷺ recited Surah Bara'ah. I said to Ubayy, 'When was this surah revealed?' He said, 'He frowned at me and did not speak to me.' He said, 'And he mentioned the hadith. Thus I found it in my book, and I searched for it in the musnads but did not find it in full. The hadith with its chain is authentic.' Sahih.
