أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو عَمْرِو بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْإِمَامُ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ أَعْظَمَ الذُّنُوبِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةً فَلَمَّا قَضَى حَاجَتَهُ مِنْهَا طَلَّقَهَا وَذَهَبَ بِمَهْرِهَا وَرَجُلٌ اسْتَعْمَلَ رَجُلًا فَذَهَبَ بِأُجْرَتِهِ وَآخَرُ يَقْتُلُ دَابَّةً عَبَثًا»

✧ Among the greatest sins in the sight of Allah are: a man marries a woman, and when he has satisfied his need of her, he divorces her and takes away her dowry; a man hires a worker and then withholds his wages; and another kills an animal in vain.
