✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us one day while we were in the mosque, five Arabs and four non-Arabs, and he said, "Do you hear?" We said, "We have heard," twice. He said, "Listen: There will be rulers after me. Whoever enters upon them and believes them in their lying and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Pond. And whoever does not enter upon them, and does not believe them in their lying, and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of him, and he will come to me at the Pond." Mis'ar b. Kidam and Sufyan al-Thawri narrated it from Abu Husayn, from al-Sha'bi, from 'Asim al-'Adawi, from Ka'b b. 'Ujrah: "As for the hadith of al-Thawri."
