حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ثنا يَحْيَى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«مَنْ أَدْخَلَ فَرَسًا بَيْنَ فَرَسَيْنِ وَلَا يَأْمَنُ أَنْ يُسْبَقَ فَلَيْسَ بِقِمَارٍ وَمَنْ أَدْخَلَ فَرَسًا بَيْنَ فَرَسَيْنِ وَقَدْ أَمِنَ أَنْ يُسْبَقَ فَهُوَ قِمَارٌ»

✧ Whoever enters a horse between two horses without being safe from being outrun, it is not gambling; and whoever enters a horse between two horses while being safe from being outrun, it is gambling.
