✧ I was walking alongside ‘Ammār on the Day of the Camel, and with him was a horn attached to his saddle into which he urinated when he needed to urinate. When the fighting was about to begin, he said, “O Mukhāriq, go to the banner of your people.” I said, “I am not going to fight while I am today in this condition.” He said, “Rather, O Mukhāriq, go to the banner of your people, for I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prefer that a man fight under the banner of his people.”
