✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a military expedition or traveled and night overtook him, he said: 'O earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil and the evil of what is in you and the evil of what He created in you and from the evil of what crawls upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of every lion, black serpent, snake, scorpion, and from the evil of the dweller of the land, and from the evil of a parent and what he begot.'
